We arrived without a reservation and chose our own spot. We pitched with our camper, trailer, and three dogs, right down on the right in a field just in front of us. It was perfect, and everything was said. The location was excellent, close to the lift, lake, village, and hiking trails. A fantastic campsite, clean and relaxing.

Great location just a few meters from the lake. We stayed 3 nights. Nice showers. Guest card offers free buses. The site is, however, expensive.

We visited this spot first because it's closest to Lake Königssee, and we didn't regret it. The first night, we stayed at the "Triftplatz" and, while strolling across the site, realized that "The Mountain" is a better and quieter spot. The Königsseer Ache can make quite a racket, especially when it's been raining, like it did during our stay. So the next day, we went to the groundskeeper and asked if we could move.
