The location is fine, close to the sea, with a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. But if you have to pay 41 euros per night in the low season, you would expect the pitches to be mowed, toilet paper to be refilled on time, facilities to be clean, and showers to be hot. Things we can live with just fine, but this is too expensive for what you get.

One star is justified for the location. About 20 minutes to Bilbao, within walking distance of the surfer beach, and relatively close to the supermarket.

Otherwise: mostly very unfriendly staff, grumpy reception. Showers were cold, and when asked if they could be made warmer, nothing was done. The restrooms have no doors; incredibly cold in bad weather.
The dirty bathroom wasn't cleaned for a week. €41 in the off-season is a complete joke!

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of October. The selection of campsites near Bilbao is extremely limited – hence, presumably, the rather high price for the very small pitches! The sanitary facilities were very good, and it was a short walk to the beach, the train station (for travel to Bilbao), and the supermarket. Recommended for a visit to Bilbao – but it is expensive!
