Nice place to stand with shady places between the trees on a river. However, this is also a recreational place where many local Italians come on weekends and then there is a lot of noise. The owner only speaks Italian, but is very friendly. Sanitary facilities are basic, but clean. Showering alone is € 2 for 2 min. Also a lot of barking from dogs in the neighborhood. No supermarket in the vicinity. Stayed here for 1 night and that was pretty good!

We came here a few days after the heavy rain. The river had quickly spread across its full width and had crumbled many sides. Large trees had already fallen and other pieces showed cracks. We have seen a moderate river with a beautiful view with fireflies in the evening. Regularly awakened by the big bangs of cannons to keep the bears and wild boars away. That worked out well, by the way.

The place was really a highlight of our trip. The river where the place is located is great for swimming. The owner only speaks Italian, but he tries very hard and is accommodating. You can also buy your own wine, bread and cheese.

BUT: if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, you should come during the week. At the weekend, the square and the local picnic facilities are a popular destination for Italians. Then all hell broke loose.
