Then you didn't look properly in the village: all necessary shops are available in La Marina, a fifteen-minute walk away. This includes a supermarket with, among other things, its own excellent butcher shop.

we love it !  near the nature reserve and beach plus fab cafes right on beach front 
only small drawback so far is .. can't find a local spar or shop for basic needs in the village

What a fuss about WiFi, just make sure you have a good subscription yourself. We don't need WiFi at all, all that whining about WiFi everywhere. You're on vacation, just turn that internet off completely!!!
