camping of the caravan and Motorhome club, with membership you pay less. all camping places are in the forest, little sun if you are unlucky. We were allowed to choose our own place, there are larger (white posts) and smaller places (blue posts) Sanitary facilities are ok! a visit to Sizergh is worth it but the Lakeland motor museum is really great fun and definitely recommended!

for 55 euros you can stay here for a whole night....
sanitary facilities are okay, not great and certainly not super clean.
discharge waste water with buckets..
Google puts you on the other side of the river with only a narrow footbridge and does not know the way to the campsite.
they know that at the reception where I arrived 1 1/2 hours later.
but to then put up signs that was asking a bit much.

We stayed here in April. Nice campsite, not cheap and if you are a member of their club you pay less. Spacious places, wonderfully quiet. You can (fly)fish in the river and beautiful walking possibilities.
