On our journey from Lago d’Iseo to Lago Caldonazzo we hoped to make a stop at Lago d’Idro. Unfortunately no place anywhere. Then we found this camper place via this app and what a surprise we were! Yes, a climb of 14% with our 9m long Hymer but certainly doable for the better drivers 😉 and what a fantastic place! For us definitely a keeper and if you like peace, nature, and beautiful views and don’t want to cook one evening: definitely visit!!

Still a nice place and nice staff. We were not told that eating in the restaurant was mandatory and we paid 10 euros (in the end we had a nice meal there).

As previously noted a steep climb/narrow but got my 8m/4.5t up with out to much both and felt it was worth the effort to suddenly reach an alpine setting, loved it.
Friendly staff and restaurant, water electric and dump lovely view of snow covered peaks, two of us here D/GB
Approach from the south seemed to be best way and I would stay again.
