Great campsite, we were there two weeks ago. We were in the sun in 10 degrees Celsius, while it was dark and freezing in Rjukan.
The gentleman at reception was friendly, and we could choose our own pitch (it wasn't that busy anymore either). A great base for the Gaustatop or a visit to Rjukan.

Sandvikken Camping is a great place! We received a friendly welcome, everything was clean and well-maintained. It was especially convenient that you can book and reserve online. The sanitary facilities were clean, and the amenities were modern and well-maintained. The sauna is highly recommended after hiking or swimming. We had a wonderful time relaxing here; it's a campsite that has it all.

We've been coming to this beautiful campsite for years and consider it the most beautiful we've visited in Norway. The staff and owner are very friendly. There are plenty of sanitary facilities, although it often seems like most people prefer to use the small shower and toilet facilities, even though there's a large building there as well. A great bakery and supermarket are within walking distance through the small forest. We definitely recommend this campsite.
