The green hedges provide ample privacy, but also a welcoming atmosphere. Camping de Merel is located in North Limburg, in the village of Melderslo, within the municipality of Horst aan de Maas. The village is also known as the "blueberry village" because approximately a quarter of all blueberries in the Netherlands are grown here. We have several bushes on the campsite for you to pick. Large, well-maintained pitches with sufficient privacy, spacious, clean, and adequate sanitary facilities. Various activities are organized. Very beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would love to return here. ### Chasseur - 5/5 *September 2025* Fantastic campsite! We stayed here for three days at the end of August with another couple. A warm welcome, excellent facilities. And there was room! We had a wonderful night at a neat, modest campsite. The bathroom facilities were nice and the hostess was lovely. And even more fun was scratching the cupboards in the guesthouse's outdoor area. It was lovely!
