Enjoyed a wonderful stay at De Olde Bargen. Despite the May holidays and King's Day weekend, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. That must have to do with the clever layout with small pitches. The sanitary facilities were neatly maintained by the new owners with a young family. Dwingelerveld is beautiful!

School grade 8; everything is in perfect order! ; committed young people as the current managers. We have been coming here since 2014. Beautiful silence at night, and during the day outside of school holidays. It is a pity there is no greywater disposal point.

For the nearby atmospheric Bospub, it is now advisable to make a reservation. It has become quite expensive there for the cafeteria-level meals.

*August 2025* 

Basic camping and not really a nature camping site. However, it is in a beautiful area for lots of walking and cycling. The camping site is more for caravans that are there for a long time. We were close together. Watch out for overhanging branches when driving in. Lhee was closed for an event, which meant we got stuck twice. It is useful to indicate this when booking. For the real camper feeling, you are better off going to camper park Lhee. Much better facilities.
