You can't call this a campervan site. You park along the road between passenger cars, where you are parked at a very steep angle. Definitely not recommended.

On one side you have the horse racing track, on the other the Clara Zetkin Park, close to the Plagwitz district. The street is a dead end, so it is quiet. There is a restaurant with a beer garden at the racetrack. Lovely to sit there in good weather. An ideal base from which to visit the center of Leipzig and the other districts. Beautiful cycling through the park to your destination. There are no facilities.

Parking is only allowed on the street, not on the park's grassy area.
Parking is subject to inspection and fines.
Upon arrival, all campers were parked at the gate.
Furthermore, it's a unique and quiet location.
Within walking distance of the town center.
