We stayed 1 night peacefully and enjoyed the town and the park jogging routes - it is a great spot with a few motorhomes dotted amongst the cars. Unfortunately, there was an old man in his red car who just spent the day pissing into carrier bags and leaving them by his car then moving to another space, we watched him do this! he either needs help or he is a council official with a grudge against motorhome people - it looked deliberate…

Good parking and overnight accommodation. You can explore the city on foot. Slept peacefully.

Nice town with a square full of terraces and some interesting old buildings. From this cp you can cycle to the Via Verde La Plata. The route to the Via Verde runs through the park along the water to the car industry there left, about 1 km flat road. At the Via Verde 1x a climb of about 10 meters. The first 10 km of the Via Verde is particularly beautiful, you can taste the unspoiled nature of the Extremadura, route see photo of April 27, 2025.
