We stayed here for 2 nights
1 day spent visiting the monasteries
ate here twice, highly recommended
placement is free if you eat in the tavern

Beautiful, quiet spot close to the Meteora monasteries. You can stay here for free if you eat at the tavern. Had a great meal, friendly people, and a large terrace in a beautiful garden. No amenities anymore, but as a camper, you don't need them anyway.

It is indeed free, but you are expected to eat something. Fine, we did and the food was good value for money. The owner speaks German, has worked in Germany. He speaks English.
