Great place, very friendly owners. Beautiful view of the water. Clean bathrooms. However, the owner needs to master the protocol of cleaning the top of the bathroom fixtures first, then the bottom and floor. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars. Everything else was excellent.

Beautifully maintained site at Heeg. spacious pitch even at high season. Boat and SUP board rental is available. Little animals roaming around the campground and there is a pony too. Peace and calm 
.

Beautiful campsite at the head of the lake.
A great location for cycling trips to Heeg, Stavoren, Workum, and Hindelopen, among others.
