Clean restrooms, a great restaurant (cash only), a nice playground, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings.

Spacious pitches on a large, elongated campsite. Good sanitary facilities, only cleaning could be better. High price until 3 Sept., i.e. €41 - after that €31 -
Nice cycling opportunities around the lake. Also a good train connection to the centre of Essen.

Large mixed camping with permanent and pull-through places. Excellent for visiting Essen. Brand new sanitary facilities. 
Pizzeria on the camping very mediocre, service could also be better.
