We were here on September 1, 2023. Wonderful place for a transit; quiet, beautiful view, next to a neat park, clean surroundings. We were here with 3 campers, no one else, felt very safe. No toilet facilities.

High situated quiet parking lot at playground and watchtower (paid). As the previous reviews indicated, it is still quite a walk to the lake. Past the bistro and then down a flight of stairs and over the railway. Not suitable for prams/wheelchair. We decided not to spend the night there and drove on.

No point, the place should be open all year round, so it says in the ad.
On 09/25 it was already closed, like almost all campsites on the southern shore of Lake Balaton.
