About 60 years ago, I lived near Leekstermeer lake. I was in the area now, so I thought it would be nice to spend a night there with my campervan and grab a bite to eat. That turned out to be a good choice. It's a beautiful campsite, with excellent facilities and friendly staff, both on the phone for reservations and in the restaurant. This location is definitely worth another visit.

What a beautiful campsite in a fantastic location on Leekstermeer lake. The staff are very friendly. Wonderful pitches for campers, each with its own private field. The surrounding area is perfect for walking, cycling, boating, and swimming. Ordered bread rolls are delivered to your camper in the morning. The restrooms are spacious and clean.

Beautiful campsite. We spent a weekend in a chalet and another weekend with our campervan. Lovely pitches, mostly right on the water. The restaurant serves delicious food.
The campsite was quite full, but you wouldn't have noticed. The sanitary facilities were adequate and clean.
