If you want something other than fish and chips, this is the place to be. The food here is really good, and on top of that, staying overnight costs only €20, including electricity, water, and Wi-Fi.

This is an absolute must-visit if you are in Connemara. There is a large, spacious car park opposite the pub. Several spots have electricity. You can use the toilet there when the pub is open. We didn't hear any traffic. Definitely have dinner there, as the quality is top-notch. It is not for nothing that the pub was named the best pub in Ireland in 2025. We paid €20 for one night.

A friendly welcome at the hotel. Excellent parking opposite the hotel with water and electricity. The price for this is 20 euros per night. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant in the evening. It's located on the greenway cycle route. We cycled to the starting point (22km each way) on Achill Island: beautiful!
