The fact that the campsite is closed is indicated by the link to the website. It then says:
"Since we are no longer operating the campsite, we ask you to contact the local municipality of Gillenfeld."

small CP with many permanent campers, but also places for short overnight stays, mainly below and on the side, but also in between. Wash house located above, getting old, but clean. Restaurant with delicious dishes (schnitzel, pizza, burgers, salad, etc.). Staff (family business) friendly. Small bathing access to the great crater lake at the back of the CP. For 2 people with camper €23 + €3 electricity

For one night it was ok.
The caretaker(?) asked nothing, just wanted to know if it was for one night.
For electricity you had to pay at the pole with a euro coin.
The toilets were locked, maybe we could have picked up a key.
I have not seen showers, but there is a building above, but that was for the regular guests.
We had a quiet night, but it didn't invite for more.
