Lovely small-scale campsite. Friendly and hospitable. Beautiful surroundings for walking and cycling. Many cycling routes for both mountain bikes and (electric) bikes.

Easy access to Zurich by public transport. Received great tips from the campsite owners, such as the FIFA Museum. You can buy a 24-hour pass for 29 Swiss francs (kids 19) for public transport and all museums in Zurich.
Also includes a boat trip and cable car.

We were pleasantly surprised by this campsite. The welcome was friendly, and it was perfectly equipped for small children, with a nice playground and swimming in the stream. The campsite is situated in a green area with beautiful hiking trails. The train station is 700m away, from where you can reach Zurich in 25 minutes. We were there in mid-September and got one of the last spots, so booking ahead might be wise.

The campsite in the Sihlwald forest impresses with its quiet, natural location and well-maintained green spaces that invite you to relax. Especially on warm days, the refreshing dip in the Suhl river is a highlight. Registration was straightforward, and the staff were extremely friendly and personable. Overall, a very pleasant place to which we would happily return.
