Ratings often have to do with the people who manage a place, don't they.. 
Rachel and Ben are so cheerful and welcoming, the place so clean and the showers so nice and hot, that they easily deserve the 5 stars. 
Then there's the Cliff Top Cafe after an short walk to the channel cliffs and the lovely views from there. What a great place to stay for a few days after the ferry ride from Calais (or vv). Thank you - until next time !😊 Rose

Nice, friendly welcome. Beautiful green campsite. Clean sanitary facilities, outdated in appearance but pleasant to use.
Beautiful walk via Cliff Top Cafe (highly recommended for the view, atmosphere, and good food) to Folkstone. Suitable for experienced hikers. Return by bus in about 10 minutes.
