We spontaneously booked a pitch online and were able to choose our own number. The sanitary facilities are currently housed in a container, but we don't think that's a problem. The owner is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We'll definitely be back.

The large lawn has now been divided into 23 paved spots; the sanitary facilities are still in portacabins.

Large grassed area with plenty of space around pitches.  Shower/toilets in a portakabin so feel a bit dated, the electric shower worked well, had adjustable temperature & flow rate. FREE to use washing machine and tumble drier located in the ladies. Only downside NO chemical waste disposal as not on mains. You need to take your waste to the campsite at Stromness where you can empty it for free.
