A very neat spot on the Weser. A long time ago, you would park here on a somewhat messy field and could just drive the camper across the bridge and through the town. That is no longer the case; the place is tidy. €13, get a ticket and pay by credit card. Around five-thirty, a nice man comes to check on things, and you can order sandwiches from him. Beautiful old town a 5-minute walk away, good food, and quite a few large shops. For Dutch people looking for a house... dirt cheap here!

Unfortunately, the only bridge over the Weser River in Höxter is closed to vehicles over 3.5 tons. This results in a significant detour. The spots along the Weser offer beautiful views, and the old town is easily accessible on foot.

A visit to Corvey Abbey/Castle is definitely worthwhile.

Very spacious pitches and parking spaces. The site is very well-maintained. If there were more electricity meters, it would be 5 stars! The absolutely clean bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, and plenty of hooks and shelves also deserves 5 stars! 5 stars for the magnificent view of the Weser River and the town itself. Ideal for cycling tours and a charming little town! We'd love to come back!!
