Camping Le Sabot is a quiet, green campsite on the River Indre, just a few minutes' walk from the town center and the famous Château de Azay-le-Rideau, in the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Natural Park.

I read so much negativity in the reviews. We thought it was a great spot: in the off-season: camping €22.00 including electricity. The sanitary facilities are indeed outdated but clean. The pitches are spacious and reasonably level, perfect for our campervan. The castle has been beautifully renovated 10 years ago and is definitely worth a visit. Off-season: €13. Restaurants within walking distance.

The prices and services are completely inaccurate! The owner claims this website so we, as camper owners, cannot change anything.
The price for a camper is €24.22/day.
Electricity is €6/day.
Swimming pool ticket is included.

Good price for one nice spot by the river. Toilet building basic but adequate. Is clean.
Nice village within walking distance with a few shops and restaurants. 
Castle but not visited because €16 I think is a lot of money for a ticket. Good campsite for 1 or 2 nights.
