A very nice campsite, with friendly owners, clean restrooms (toilet seats, paper, soap, hot showers), and a bread roll service.
A simple restaurant on the campsite with an extensive menu. We didn't use it in the evening, but we did have breakfast in the morning for €6 per person.
The pitches are a bit tight for longer campers (over 7 meters).
When we were there, there were many motorcyclists leaving early (no problem).
The walk to the church on the mountaintop: challenging but recommended.

A small campsite a 5-minute walk from the beautiful town of Castellane. The sanitary facilities are dated but clean. There are many chalets and glamping tents compared to available campervan/camping spots. €27/night including electricity for a campervan and 2 people on August 31, 2025. Beautiful hiking area.

A great campsite just a five-minute walk from the charming town center of Castellane. We were supposed to be at Les Lavandes in Valensol, but the owner kindly called ahead to let us know we were arriving a day later. Neat campervan pitches with electricity and a great on-site restaurant with friendly staff. It certainly wasn't a punishment to accidentally spend the night here.
