Autokemp Ostrov has a very pleasant location in the heart of the Bohemian Paradise in Mala Skala. The camp is located in the center of the village, surrounded by the river Jizerou. In the picturesque valley of Malá Skála you will find ruins of old castles (Pantheon, Frýdštejn) as well as many natural attractions (Dry Rocks, rock town Kalich).

When we arrived on a Wednesday it was packed with school children! The next day it was quieter! Luckily there was still a nice spot at the water! Despite the many children the toilets were clean! All old though. Showers, strange system, not tried. A bit chaotic all. Bistro was open, but 'normal' people could not eat there, only school children! 900 meters along the street was a good pizzeria. Swimming at the dam: Delicious

the place is really fantastic on the river. there can be a lot of youth who then have camp (canoeing)
the sanitary facilities are really dated and in a "Czech" way but if you brave that it is a lovely warm shower for a few minutes.
you have to understand the system, laughed a lot about this ...
surroundings beautiful, by bike on a nice path along the river to zelezny brod.
in the village itself a pizzaria visited, 15 euros 🥳

Wow, what a location.
Lovely on a rippling river.
Sanitary facilities are very basic but clean.
The shower has a shower curtain.
We arrived late, the reception was already closed. Contacted the owner by phone (in German). We were allowed to find a spot. The payment would come tomorrow.
Next to the campsite is a bistro, here we enjoyed a delicious pizza with a local beer. Absolutely fantastic!!!
