If you take into account that Icelandic campsites are often austere, this is a great austere place. Two toilets and a sink for washing up, that's all. It worked well for us. Owner came by to pay, but we have a camping card. So don't know the rate.

Considering that the campsite would be temporarily closed, a previous campsite continued to receive up to 15-9 guests due to a camping card. We stopped outside the gate at 6:30 PM. After 7:30 PM a hiker stopped with a man who stated in an unfriendly tone that the campsite was closed. To our answer that we do not need any facilities, he says that he is the owner and that we are not welcome on his property. So leave!

Great overnight stay for when you are in transit, you can also walk from here.
Simple toilet block.
