great place, spent the night with 5 people. beautiful area for walking.

Friends, that's not how it works. I don't know if you're aware of this, but this is a parking lot and not a campsite. In addition, you dear campers, who shouldn't really call themselves campers with their luxury sleds, leave your garbage everywhere and the community workers, with whom I have a very good relationship, have an enormous job cleaning up your dirt. Just go to the campsite in Oberammergau

Nice but quite skewed parking lot next to the beautiful monastery. It is doable with blocks under the wheels. Beautiful surroundings, high mountains, many hiking opportunities and a bakery nearby.
3,- parking costs, until 23:59, then insert another 3,-.
Only trash can, no further amenities.
We think it is a very nice overnight place!
