We had a great one-night stay. The Viking graves are highly recommended. The question is whether this is truly a campervan site. It doesn't feel like you're taking up a spot in front of the graves or museum anymore.
The shooting range was audible day and night. Gunpowder smoke sometimes wafted over the area. We didn't find it bothersome, but our dog did.

Beautiful location near the Viking Museum. The museum is definitely worth a visit. Cycling to Aalborg is a great option! It's a bike-friendly city. Killing Park is also worth seeing. Be self-sufficient, though. Slept peacefully. Thanks to the museum!

I give it a star because I wonder if this is really a legal camper place. There is no sign anywhere whether it is allowed yes or no. Fine for a night, there is nothing, except a waste bin. During the day many people who go for a walk with the dog. I stayed there for a night to be able to go to the museum, very worthwhile.
