Only went as far as the barrier. The campsite was supposed to be open from April 4th. Closed on April 19th. Unclear notice at the drab little office about being closed on Sundays. Nobody on the campsite. Shameful, we'll check out Richelieu next time.

super nice campsite with a heated swimming pool. toilet block is clean, no toilet paper. If the reception is closed, you can report to the people at site 32 and enter the campsite. Richelieu center within walking distance with cozy terraces, restaurants and supermarket. Beautiful place to visit. Voile Verte to Chinon 20 km.

Hospitably received... in French/German...
Switched to German, it was better for him and for me ;-)
We had a choice of 2 places.
Nice spacious camper spots, especially for 16.50 including everything.
The showers were dated, but clean.
Nice campsite for a transit.
