Friendly welcome at a simple, neat campsite. There is room for 10 campers on a wide strip of grass; there is no partition, so no privacy. Simple sanitary facilities but very clean. Beautiful location within walking distance of a shop and the train to visit the Aareschlucht. Ideal for mountain hikes, but less suitable for cycling trips. We paid CHF 40/night for a camper and 2 people.

Simple campsite, everything you need and clean sanitary facilities.

Please note: pay in cash in Swedish Francs! 5-minute walk to train and bus connections. Small supermarket.

When we called, it turned out the campsite was full, but Rita had a temporary spot; so welcome! We ended up staying there for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a pleasant, small, and charming campsite with excellent (clean) restroom facilities, thanks in part to Rita's care.

There's plenty to do in the surrounding area, including a supermarket around the corner, four restaurants, and a free train connection to the larger town of Meiringen. Definitely worth a visit.
