Lovely, quiet camper site.

Owner super friendly and helpful.

The old Hoorn-Medemblik steam train passes by twice a day.

Nice to see.
The food in the café/restaurant is delicious.

A wonderfully quiet campsite on a quiet road, but the season had clearly not started yet. We arrived on March 21st, and the hospitality facilities don't open until Easter.
So there is still plenty of time to get the shower and the light in the toilet sorted out.
Medemblik, within cycling distance, was a nice, picturesque outing. On Sunday morning, we took a walk through the tranquil old center of Opperdoes. All in all, no regrets about our stay.

We stayed at this location for three nights in the first half of September 2025. Friendly owners. Beautiful paved campervan site. A cozy atmosphere. The café serves excellent food. Fruit and nut trees, chickens and beehives, and delicious honey. Medemblik is a 10-minute bike ride away. We visited the Bakery Museum and the War Museum. The campervan service area definitely needs improvement! We'll be back.
