Abandoned and seems closed in this period (January). So don't bother with the complicated way to get there.

hard to find (don't trust Google), but then wonderful silence (mid-September) as a welcome I was immediately invited to a portion of spaghetti at the staff table. However, the kiosk/restaurant was closed.

Great pitch for a stopover in Sicily. Showers (50 cents) available.
Ideal for dog owners as there is a huge forest arena in about 200m.
Toilet and gray water disposal not possible but later on at the motorway rest areas.
Great beach and absolute tranquility.
