I've been to this rest area twice already. The first time was in 2021 and the second in 2023. Both times, Sergio and his family were wonderful. Fantastic place. The sea is just 50 meters away. The services are excellent.
What more could you ask for from a rest area?

Okay as a starting point for an Etna trip. Otherwise more of a festival feeling in the sanitary facilities (difficult). The pictures shown here are very well done ;)

all amenities are available. it's all very basic. Sanitary facilities were only cleaned once during our stay (three days).
showers (1 euro per person per time) are in addition to the 20 euros. If you look at it this way, you can also stay at a good Acsi campsite for 22 euros. Therefore only 3 stars 
owner is friendly and helpful.
