It is a decent parking lot in itself; however, it is closed in the evening/night, so you cannot drive in after a certain time. Due to delays on the way, I unfortunately found myself in front of a closed gate 🙈.

Motorhome pitches for €10 next to the large car park. Some with electricity. Take the shuttle to Castel del Monte for €2. Quiet and safe at night.
