Beautiful spot, very friendly owner lady (Claire?)! The walk up to the castle ruins great and easy...view magnificant...very serene place! Liked the farm atmosphere...everything in good shape and clean...Thank you! Mario from Switzerland

what a beautiful place! walking above the campsite and cycling along the canal to the aqueduct and the castle further on. Everything is there and with friendly owners. The access road is easy to do.

Don't listen to your sat nav if it tells you to go up opposite the bridge in Llangollen. That is the only road to Wern Isaf Farm that can be driven by a camper. Nice quiet campsite with old but good toilet facilities. It is on a working farm. Llangollen is 1km away on foot. 
You can cycle from here to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct along the Shropshire Canal on the towpath 20km return.
