we stayed Monday night a group of guy gathered in the carpark all evening  few of them reved their engines and drove around. they were not drinking but just socialising. we didn't feel threatened at all.
by 11 pm they had left then we had a very peaceful night

Nice parking place for the day, noisy at night due to loitering youths. 
Beware, there is currently a shady character in the parking lot, a Norwegian in a red Nissan van who is spying on and filming everyone.

Just stood on the boulevard during the day. looks neat. Better than further down the beach. The storm took us further inland
