Parking with 6 reserved camper places + electricity on the edge of the city but right next to the busy railway, so noise pollution that we take for granted. City is nice and definitely worth a visit.
Further amenities are in the car park on the other side of the track. From the car park turn right under the railway bridge and keep right.

If you like to stand on a mixed parking lot, this is the right place. Disposal closed. A point for proximity to the old town.

The new parking space set up in 2020 is a model for the Ruhr area, of which there are unfortunately far too few. The slogan "Die Gute Stube - Altstadt Recklinghausen" is absolutely true. The environment and the nearby city center with many shops make a very neat impression. Compliments, care is taken here. Only the adjacent railway embankment with train operations gives a star deduction.
