What a bunch of sourpusses are here with these reviews! Yes, trains pass by, but you hardly hear them; you also hear boats sailing past, and apparently those people aren't bothered by that. City noise?… every now and then you hear a siren, so what? My dear folks, this is our second time here and it is a fine campsite, nice and close to the city, great sanitary facilities, and a lovely bistro (didn't eat there this time). So… stop complaining!

Friendly welcome at reception. Beautiful, large pitch by the water with a view of the Deutsche Eck. The Old Town is accessible on foot, but also by ferry. The campsite is certainly not cheap (approx. €60 for 2 people, dog, and including electricity), but the location makes up for a lot. Pitches not directly by the water are a bit cheaper. City noise is audible, but that is to be expected. We will definitely come back here again. We enjoyed it immensely.

Beautiful campsite on the Rhine/Moselle. 9-minute bike ride to the center. Very clean sanitary facilities, well maintained. Motorhome pitches outside the gate and on the grounds. Normal price €50 per night for 2 people + car/caravan. The ferry runs, but is seasonal. Fresh bread rolls in the morning at the kiosk near reception, with a wide selection. The bistro has a small menu but good and friendly staff.
