Today I was at a fixed gate. The opening hours were 09:00-12:00 and 16:00-20:00. I took a quick look over the fence to see what it looked like. There were at most 10 campers parked there. So I called the phone number posted on the gate. A recorded message in several languages stated that reservations had to be made via email. After an hour, I received a WhatsApp message stating that overnight stays were not possible. Poor communication, not worthy of a single star.

This is simply a great place to spend the winter or for a week: clean, safe, everything within walking distance, and wonderfully quiet evenings and nights.

What is also nice is that the bar is open in the afternoon for 3 days.

The host and hostess, Tako & Juanita, are very sweet people and very helpful.

We went to the blues festival with Juanita and Jenny; it was super fun, Tako arranged this for us.

(I don't understand why people are giving negative reviews)

I spent the winter in Spain for the first time, and staying here with Tako and Juanita, you won't be disappointed. A lovely, familiar, and safe place, within good walking distance of the boulevard, the old town, and the harbor. In short, a very clean place with a cozy bar, open three times a week in the afternoon. I am already looking forward to next season. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
