Fine parking spot if you visit the factory, but we didn't stay overnight here: in that case, go to Franks Wohnmobilstellplatz, a 15-minute walk from here. That is a really nice place!

Unique campsite so close to the steel factory. An extra power box has been installed, so there is power for all pitches. €1 for 2 kW.
A fence has also been put up for the evening to protect against speeding cars. Grey water can be discharged free of charge.

It is a pity that this spot costs €15 nowadays and that you can only empty your water (for free). If you visit the Völklinger Hutte, you park—in the same parking lot—but outside the spaces, completely FREE!

The old steel factories and grounds are nice to visit. You can climb up to a height of 42m and enjoy a magnificent view of the entire area.
