We stayed one night. The food in the "living room" was very good. The site is pleasant, quiet, and shady. The bathroom was closed upon arrival. We were only able to empty the black water tank. No water was available for rinsing or filling up with fresh water; the station was quite damaged.

Sure, there are a few sites on the slope, but there are also plenty of almost flat sites. Shaded spots are great in the summer. A swimming pool, shops, a playground, a gas station, and nice walking paths (with dogs) are all nearby. There's also an S-Bahn station for trips to Essen or Wuppertal. Grey and black water disposal is free. 100 liters of fresh water costs €1.

Quite large terrain, tried several places because of slopes but still a great free place at the panorama pool. 5 euros pp, sanu column and loose gray water. lidl nearby so a short walk and fresh bread rolls tomorrow morning.
