Let me start on a positive note. The campsite is beautifully situated, wonderfully peaceful, and has a lovely swimming pond. But what a faded glory this campsite has become. The cottages are completely dilapidated, and the restrooms are unclean! A huge, filthy mess in the trash can. The power supply is very rickety. Such a shame because this campsite really has potential. We paid €24.95 for one night, two people, a dog, electricity, and a campervan, and you should at least expect clean restrooms.

what a nice place and what a letdown the sanitary facilities are! No lighting for the gentlemen in the evening, empty shampoo bottles and old razor blades. Insects and leaves on the ground. No privacy when showering. Sanitary facilities look like an old barracks. Shame!! I don't understand how this is possible and for 21.60 euros, 2 people. with camper and electricity. continue to Braunsweich. camper pitches with clean!! sanitary facilities and illuminated at night

What a fantastic place this is! Everything is there, lake for swimming, playground for the children and a lovely terrace where you can have a drink and eat. The environment is beautiful, the people nice, what more do you need? For people who like so-called 'Lost places', this is an interesting campsite with nice abandoned buildings, including Walsee Gaststätte. Everything vintage. There is also a track behind the campsite with the occasional train. Also nice!
