It can indeed be a fantastic place, but today it was mud and large puddles with thousands of mosquitoes floating on them. We left after half an hour.

Unfortunately, we were a bit too early for the floral splendor (late May), but definitely recommended for nature lovers. A beautiful 360-degree view!

The 1 km to Castellucio is along the meadows, though it is at least 3 km along the road.
There were a lot of flies from the horses, though.
It is a unique experience to stand there.
