What a great place and such a helpful owner! We arrived on Sunday after 4 p.m., when the kitchen was closed. We could order food from the Chinese restaurant, but we had to pay by card. Since we didn't have any money left, we were able to withdraw the money and get it back in cash to pay for the meal. Fantastic! The place itself is also wonderful and peaceful, one to remember.

super nice inn and beautiful large lawn - nice breakfast outside - camping behavior allowed!
food also very nice and cheap - coffee £2.60 - cheapest in whole month holiday

Great place to stay. Stayed 2 nights. To Bury St Edmunds with beautiful cathedral by bike. About 8 km of quiet roads and a large part of a separate cycle path to the cathedral. Worth it. Good stopover on the way to the ferry. And a nice cold beer is certainly not to be missed, there are 10 different ones on tap! Also IPA.
