Beautifully situated pitch, less than 100m from the Rhine riverbank. €20 including electricity. Friendly hosts. If the hum of the heavy cargo ships' diesel engines at night doesn't bother you, this is a great place. And actually, there's something to that about it. After all, the Rhine is a historic trade route... We were here in January, and it was quiet. However, the leisure activities offered by Xanten suggest that the site will be quite busy from spring to autumn.

It's a great location. It's best not to stand near the building because the fans hum all night. I didn't get a wink of sleep. You can use the restroom during the day, during opening hours. It costs €15. If you need electricity, it's €5 per night.
