We called, got our hopes up, drove there, picked a spot, and then decided to leave again. We were lucky enough to mention the word "meadow" and were offered one. These spots aren't quite as cramped as the ones on the main campsite. Our plot was right at the entrance and, due to the trees, only allowed for two pitches. The location is definitely a plus, and at

A very well-maintained site with a helpful operator who assists with supplies and waste disposal. Light train noise is hardly disturbing. The direct route through the main train station leads to the city center, making the central location particularly attractive. Reservations are strongly recommended, as the site is often fully booked. Ideal for visitors to Leipzig with a motorhome.
