The SP is located at Point Alpha US Camp (N 50.72396, W 9.93352). There are 3 large pitches, also suitable for long motorhomes, slightly sloping. Costs 10€ (October 2024), otherwise no facilities available. Good starting point for hiking and border history.

Great view, quiet location. The museum closes at 6pm, so all the tourists disappear by then. The open air museum is definitely worth a visit. We visited the museum, but still had to pay 10 EUR for the CP. The money goes to the foundation that maintains this valuable place, so we paid with pleasure.

The parking space is not as noted, but at Camp Point Alpha. Overnight stays are prohibited in the parking lot of the house on the border. According to the receptionist who has worked here for 18 years, it is also not possible to offset the entrance fee. 
Other than that, it is the quiet place described with a beautiful view of the landscape.
