We are Hilmer Sikkenga and Marieanne van Tilburg, and we've been the new owners of Camping Midden Drenthe since 2018. We were both born and raised in Drenthe, and camping is in our blood. We're happy to introduce you to beautiful Drenthe and strive every day to ensure our guests have a wonderful, relaxing holiday.

The campsite advertises free Wi-Fi, but I have no Wi-Fi. The owner says it would be coming because it would be peak load at that time (around 7:00 PM) as many people would be using the Wi-Fi at that time. I can imagine that, but it’s 1:00 AM now and still no Wi-Fi…! And the shower card should show €10.00, but that wasn't the case either; it was €9.97… peanuts, sure, but still, I feel ripped off🤬, no Wi-Fi and less on the shower card. Scammers🤡

We are here now and the sanitary facilities are very poor. On day one, the sanitary facilities in the main building were clogged, and now this building is even closed. 4 outdated toilets for 80 pitches that are not cleaned. This is unacceptable in this day and age. Fortunately, we are leaving tomorrow.

Were here 5 days with the camper. Very pleased. Very pleasant, young owner who takes all the time to listen to you and wants to please you. And his pizzas are indeed... delicious.
