We stayed at the Havensicht camper site for a few days. We were welcomed warmly. Great spot, level and hard ground. The sanitary facilities are clean and work well.

Cycling to Woudsend, Balk, and Sloten is a nice loop.

Friendly owner who comes by on her bike. Behind us was a blueberry garden. A nice open spot where it was bearable during the heatwave. There are too few power points, so we needed a huge length of cable. In a corner of the campsite near the Prinses Margriet Canal, a nice swimming spot has been created with steps; the bottom is firm and slopes gently. The sanitary building is small but adequate and clean.

We stayed here last Whitsun weekend in beautiful weather. We were at a camper site, but using the polder dike by the marina made it a very special spot. Friesland can be so beautiful. This afternoon we are going to Sloten to cheer on the cyclists of the annual Eleven Cities Tour. We will definitely be back.
