We stayed here for one night at the end of February 2026. The site is beautifully situated on the canal with a view of the mill. One criticism is that the space for emptying the cassette toilet was closed off. This encourages the cassettes to be emptied in the surrounding bushes. I don't think that's the intention.

Great location. 10 paved pitches on the waterfront opposite the mill. The restrooms were open during our stay (2nd week of September), and we had a wonderful shower there (€1). From the campsite, you can walk over a small bridge into the charming center of old Dokkum. There's also a lovely bike path right next to the campsite. A great place for a day trip (or a few days) to Dokkum. The access road is a bit hidden and narrow. Highly recommended!

Information
Located on the Baantjegracht opposite the Molenbastion, a narrow path. Please note the restrooms for water sports enthusiasts in the summer. Closed in winter. This also includes the cassette toilet disposal point. Water for water sports: payment at the harbor master. Electricity is available via the AanUIT.net app or through the harbor master. In the summer, the quayside is used as a marina for pleasure boats. The town center is 200m away.
